FINISHING (Paint Preparation, Paint & Buffing)

Finishing is the final phase before a Suhr Guitar is ready for final assembly. This stage is one where good vision and a skillful touch is most important. Grain-filling, sanding during the paint process, painting and buffing, make up this large and incredibly important department the skill and eye of our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Grain-filling guitar bodies and necks
• Taping & Paint Preparation
• Painting
• Undercoat and topcoat sanding
• Buffing

Positions in Finishing pay in the range of $20-$37/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to understand and closely follow Suhr procedures and safety rules
• Basic understanding of the safe and correct use of power tools
• Strong communication skills with supervisors and managers
• Ability to maintain quality standards
• Good vision and hand-dexterity
