FINISHING (Paint Preparation, Paint & Buffing)

Finishing is the final phase before a Suhr Guitar is ready for final assembly. This stage is one where good vision and a skillful touch is most important. Grain-filling, sanding during the paint process, painting and buffing, make up this large and incredibly important department the skill and eye of our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Grain-filling guitar bodies and necks
Taping & Paint Preparation
Painting
Undercoat and topcoat sanding
Buffing

Positions in Finishing pay in the range of $20-$37/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to understand and closely follow Suhr procedures and safety rules
Basic understanding of the safe and correct use of power tools
Strong communication skills with supervisors and managers
Ability to maintain quality standards
Good vision and hand-dexterity
