 NETWORK ADMINISTRATION & ­IT SUPPORT

The Network Administration & IT Support team is the central nervous system of Suhr – we create and maintain mission critical applications that are used throughout Suhr to accelerate guitar, and electronics production, as well as systems that allow tracking of critical inventory and processes.

Our team is currently creating and evolving systems to enable a more streamlined process for ordering and tracking electronic parts as well as designing the next generation manufacturing software that will be used in high throughput factories for all of our products.

Hardware systems such as, on-site data servers, network hubs, as well as tablets and laptops being used day to day, must be maintained.

Guitar production experience is not required to be successful here – rather we look for smart, motivated, collaborative thinkers who love solving problems and want to make an impact on a super inspiring mission. You will have full ownership of challenging problems, working with a team of enthusiastic engineers to design and produce solutions that enable Suhr to move towards our goals at a rapid pace. The success of the mission at Suhr depends on the software and systems that you and your team produce and maintain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across JS Technologies
  • Create new applications in FileMaker that improve how the business operates
  • Collaborate with peers on the implementation of FileMaker & JobPro systems
  • Build user-friendly UI prototypes in FileMaker & JobPro to prove out key concepts
  • Maintain tablets, laptops and other hardware
  • Maintain networks and servers
  • Deep dive into your users’ problems, find efficient solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline OR 2+ years of professional experience building software

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Front and back-end experience in FileMaker and JobPro
  • Expertise in on-site server and network infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, and collaboration skills
  • Expertise in maintaining software systems
  • Expertise in testing and infrastructure
  • Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
